SUMMARY

We are looking for a HR Generalist to support the recruitment process and manage learning and development related activities, for Asia-based employees across 5 countries, ensuring compliance with current legislation.

The successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate the ability to develop recruitment and learning and development initiatives that will assist with employee retention and attracting top talent. You will be responsible for setting up and aligning with Human Resources function within the group with guidance from our head office to deliver a comprehensive HR Service to the growing Asia business.

THE ROLE

Recruitment
Main point of contact to manage all recruitment activities and campaigns. You will design, implement and manage the firm’s recruitment campaigns.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Managers in Asia offices and provide support, coaching and training to Line Managers in Recruitment.
Evaluate and update job descriptions to support recruitment activities.
Implement and manage HR inhouse recruitment system.
Oversee HR induction and on/off-boarding of new employees and resignees.
Stay updated with regional labour legislation to ensure HR processes are compliant to regulations.
Provide employees with advice/support around HR policies whilst ensuring compliance to local legislations.
Conduct market compensation benchmarks to ensure market competitiveness for talent attraction and retention.

HR Operations
Support the Global HR team in rolling out Learning and Development initiatives in the region.
Conduct internal surveys to gather employee feedback on engagement, identify areas of improvement and recommend employee engagement initiatives.
Organise and promote employee health and wellbeing initiatives.
Conduct senior exit interviews and provide feedback to Head of HR.
Assist with disciplinary and/or grievance matters, and other HR issues.
Extract HR analytics reports from the HRIS system for the management team to support the HR agenda.
Discuss terms and conditions of employment and benefits with staff members

Employee Benefits
Primary contact for local employee benefits, providing Executive Team with relevant reward trends and making recommendations for approval
Manage relationships with benefits providers to ensure best value for the business.
Ensure administration of all benefits plans to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency; raise problems and seek resolution directly.
Educate employees on their benefits plan to ensure an optimal employee experience.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree in Human’s Resource Management/ Business Management
7-10 years of HR experience as a HR Generalist
Having worked with a small and medium size company
Experience in implementing/ rolling out HR system
Strong understanding of local labour legislation; regional experience would be a plus.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and spoken).
Ability to act with integrity and respect importance of privacy when dealing with confidential matters.
